Small Victories

Last fall two of Wayne’s golf buddies, Rob and Harry, were diagnosed with lung cancer within days of one another. Life seemed to have dealt a cruel hand to them and those who cared about them as doctors offered little in terms of treatment and spoke of their days among us in terms of a handful of months.
